C-GET of instances basically works. But not for RT Dose instances.

To be evaluated:

  • is something specific to the tested instances?
  • is it the size of the instances?
  • ...

After checking with a different server, there RT Dose retrieval via C-GET works. Therefore, the current assumption is that the dicom-broker has an issue instead.

this was the classic implicit vs explicit transfer syntax issue for large DS attributes.
